2011 Attack on British Embassy in Iran. The   2011 attack on the British embassy in Iran   occurred on 29 November 2011 in Tehran,   Iran. Iranians, allegedly university students, stormed the embassy and another diplomatic compound in Tehran, ransacking offices and stealing documents. One small building is reported to have been set on fire during the incident. Several people were injured, but there are no reports of any deaths. The incursion happened after about 1,000 people gathered near the embassy to demand that the British ambassador be sent home immediately. Coastal Energy  has announced the successful results of the  Bua Ban North A-11  well. The Bua Ban North A-11 was drilled as a delineation well for the Lower Miocene (M100) reservoir and as an appraisal well for the deeper Miocene reservoir (M500). Both reservoirs were encountered at the prognosed depths and contained better quality sands than encountered in the nearby A-01 well. The M100 reservoir contained 47 feet of net pay with 29% porosity compared to 32 feet with 25% porosity in the A-01 well and the M500 reservoir contained 9 feet of net pay with 26% porosity compared to 5.5 feet with 25% porosity in the A-01 well. Randy Bartley, President and CEO of Coastal Energy, commented: 'The M100 Lower Miocene reservoir has yielded consistently better than expected reservoir quality sands in the southwestern part of the Bua Ban North field. Indonesia: CBM Asia Development & Medco Energi enter agreement to sell CBM gas from Sekayu PSC.

CBM Asia Development Corp  has announced that  Medco Energi  has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to conduct the sale and purchase of coalbed methane gas produced during the dewatering stage at the  Sekayu Coalbed Methane (CBM) Production Sharing Contract (PSC) , South Sumatra, Indonesia. Mr. Alan Charuk, Chief Executive Officer and President, commented, 'This MOU will facilitate the early sale of coalbed gas from the Sekayu PSC, where CBM Asia earlier this month announced its NI 51-101 compliant Best Estimate of 1.062 trillion cubic feet of unrisked, recoverable gross prospective gas resources. We are currently assisting Medco’s engineering staff to design the pilot production program, expected to be initiated during 1Q-2012.' Under the terms of the MOU, the Sekayu CBM PSC has been approved by Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas regulator, BPMigas, to sell coalbed methane produced during the dewatering stage for local power generation. SEA Games 2011 Indonesia:Malaysia U-23 NT defeats Indonesia U-23 NT in penalties, 1-1(4-3).

JAKARTA (21 Nov 2011) – Malaysian skipper Baddrol Bakhtiar and goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat prevailed in the penalty shootout 4-3 to ensure Malaysia retained the prestigious SEA Games gold medal in a thrilling final in front of a capacity 80,000 fans at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium here tonight. Indonesia took the early lead through defender Gunawan Dwi Cahyo but Malaysia equalised through Mohd Asraruddin Omar in the 36 th  minute. The score remained unchanged after extratime. In the shootout, Khairul Fahmi saved the fifth kick while Baddrol drilled it down the centre to hand Malaysia the gold. For Malaysia, today’s hard-fought victory has proven that they are the rising force of the game in the region. After winning the SEA Games gold two years ago in Laos, the Malaysians went on to wrest the AFF Suzuki Cup title last year.
