Floyd Money-faced Gayweather KO’s Victor Ortiz in 4 th Round. With a controversial ending. WTF! MGM Grand , Las Vegas - Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) knocked out Victor Ortiz (29-3, 22KOs) in the fourth round to capture the WBC welterweight title. The first minute of the fight was a clear indicator that Mayweather's speed was still there and he was landing accurate punches while making Ortiz miss his counters . In the second round, Mayweather stayed true to his promise and he did exchange with Ortiz in spurts. Ortiz would rush in and get Mayweather against the ropes while firing punches, but he missed most of his punches. Mayweather's counters were accurate and hitting the target almost every time.
