Philippines registered the third win in a row at the U16 Asia Championship in Vietnam. They battered Qatar to improve at 3-0 record in Qualifying Round Group F. Six played scored in double digits for the winners. Jordan Heading (185-G-96) and Janhubert Cani (178-PG-95) provided 15 points each to pace Philippines. Qatar fell at 0-3 record after the loss.

Philippines did not waste time as they surged ahead right from the start. They erupted for 36 points in the opening quarter to secure a 30-point lead after ten minutes. Philippines stayed in charge throughout the second quarter. They posted a 56:10 lead at the interval. Philippines did not slow down after the big break.

They nailed 29 points in the third quarter to clear off to a comfortable 65-point distance and cruised to the victory at the end. Adven Diputado (173-PG-95) netted 14 points in the win. Mohammed Dawoud (195-C-95) answered with 10 points for Qatar. Mohamed Abdelkawy (177-G-95) had 7 points in the loss.
