Overview

aXCim is a fully managed platform that provides a set of powerful services for mobile applications. You can build powerful and secure mobile applications that easily integrate with various cloud services or synchronize with on-premise business applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, CRM, ERP or others.

aXCim is comprised of a set of cloud based services that provide key services, such as authentication and authorization, approval workflows, entities structure, notifications and many others, and a set of open source SDK to easily leverage the Cloud from any mobile platform.

Mobile applications can leverage the Cloud services for extended storage or to access on-premise applications through a simple web based APIs. Complex scenarios such as approval and order fulfilling can be executed from the mobile application.

aXCim is based on Windows Azure and leverages the scalability and reliability that Azure offers as well as worldwide access. aXCim can be used in two different ways: as a subscription based services, and as a private based service for customers who require more flexibility and control over their applications.

Simple APIs: based on Web technologies (RESTFul), aXCim APIs can be access by any web based applications and mobile applications.

iOS, Android & WP7: include open source SDK for those three mobile platforms as well as examples for web based applications.

Data Store: organized data in entities for easy manipulation from a mobile application.

Disconnected: synchronize automatically entities between business applications, the cloud and mobile applications and ensure that mobile applications can work in a connected and disconnected mode.

Security & Roles: support multiple authentication mechanisms, from Active Directory authentication to LiveID, Open ID over secure channels. Rich entitlement mechanism to manage access data in a granular way.

Workflows: include powerful and flexible workflow support for smart synchronization and for advanced scenarios (i.e. fulfillment or approval).
